What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
